Accepted users of the system
- Solicitors and Insurance companies who require information to assist Civil Litigation between the parties involved in a Road Traffic Collision.
Accessing the portal
- Each time you access the portal, put in the email address you have chosen to use for your enquiry, then choose the button ‘request access’. A pass code consisting of 6 numbers will be sent to the email address. You have 29 minutes to access the portal via the link in the email. If you do not access the portal via the link within 29 minutes, you will have to start the process again.
Profile creation and email address to use
- When you are creating a profile, we recommend you use a group/generic email address so any of your employees can access your requests, however, you should be aware that all email responses will go to the group email inbox.
- In the ‘My Profile’ section, please enter the company name you are employed at in the 'Name' and 'Organisation' box, not an individual name.
Company generic email address
- Once a profile has been created using a generic email address, you will need to use the same email address to request access. Please note, the system will not allow you to create another profile using the same generic email address. Once logged in, you will be able to see all submitted enquiries that are linked to the email address.
Create an enquiry
- To create a new enquiry, click on ‘Submit a new enquiry’ button. Once completed, click on ‘Submit enquiry’ at the bottom of the form.
When to pay
- Once you have entered details of your enquiry and clicked submit, you will be automatically transferred to Pay360 to pay the search fee. If you are unable to make payment at this stage, press cancel, this will then put the amount against your enquiry ready for payment later. Please note, that until a payment has been made, we will not be able to see your enquiry. You will need to log back into the portal to make payment.
How to pay
- You must pay by credit card or debit card. Ensure that you input the cardholder name as shown on the payment card otherwise your payment will be rejected. You will also need to ensure that you have access to the device where a verification code may be sent to authorise payment. No alternative method of payment is available.
Status of enquiry
- Using the email address, you used when you entered your enquiry. To find a particular request, enter your reference in the search function. Once you have found the enquiry, click on ‘Details’ and you’ll be taken to the individual enquiry screen which will show the status of your request (details of searching also available in the help button under ‘My Enquiries’).
